MERKAVA

Merkava- Assessing our Ultimate Richness and Divine Powers of Personality Using Sefirotic Tools:
The holy Arizal teaches us in the "Gates of the Holy Spirit" (daf nun, amud gimmel, page 599, second part, R' Chaim Asus' version, my loose translation), "It's fitting for a person to always have kavana (meditative intention) to set himself up as if he's a framework or chair (merkava) of the holy Atzilut (kabbalistic world that's characterized by absolute union with G-d)... There is no doubt that if one constantly conducts himself in this way he will be able to know anything that he desires to know...and maybe he'll be privileged to hear, smell, speak...etc ( this word 'etc...' is safe to say refers to all the rest of the personality powers on the Arizal's merkava chart) the Divine hearing, smelling, and speaking...etc."
The Arizal here opens up the door to an alignment with infinity. What we'd like to do is to attempt to lower down a ladder to allow even the non-kabbalist layman a chance to do just that.
The essential elements of the map are the ten sefirot. There is nothing in all of existence which is not thoroughly explained by these sefirot including the totality of our personality.
Our approach is to use tried and tested tools which correspond to each appropriate sefira and thereby internalize the merkava.
Each class will encompass approximately one tool or one sefira depending upon the amount of material. The reader is encouraged to refer to other links on this site providing more extensive information on the tools, sefirot or any other new terms. And of course, all types of response is valuable to your and my growth process. So keep in touch and enjoy the ride!!
